Developer Growth Center
The GitCode Developer Growth Center is dedicated to providing all new members joining GitCode with a comprehensive onboarding guide and continuous technical support. Here, developers can quickly master the key features of the GitCode platform, understand how to identify and select open-source projects of interest, and effectively participate in these projects.
- During the operation of the Growth Center, GitCode will adjust tasks, achievements, and levels; please refer to the current rules.
- Each user is allowed to use only one account for participation. The system identifies user identity through login account, phone number, terminal device, IP address, etc., to ensure the uniqueness of each user.
Key Features
- Quick Start: Quickly understand platform features and get involved in open-source projects.
- Level Up: Upgrade your growth level to gain exclusive privileges (under development).
- Earn Points Rewards: Redeem virtual or physical rewards in the future.
- Point Expiration Redemption: Points are not permanent; expiration rules will be synchronized with the redemption function.
Accessing the Growth Center
There are two simple ways to enter the Growth Center. You can choose either of the following operations:

Through Personal Settings
On any page, click your avatar in the top right corner, select "Personal Settings," then click "Growth Center" to enter.

Through Shortcut Icon
On any page, click the "Growth Center" icon in the bottom right corner. The icon shape is as shown in the image below, and clicking it will directly redirect you to the Growth Center page.

Growth Levels
The GitCode Developer Growth Center has set up the following growth levels for developers at different stages:
Growth Value/Points
- Growth value is used to record and evaluate your progress after completing a series of predefined tasks or challenges. Accumulating growth value helps you achieve higher growth levels and privileges.
- Points are rewards given based on your performance in participating and completing a series of tasks or activities. Points can accumulate, and the points redemption function will be available in the future.
- Growth value/points can be earned through tasks or activities; after completing a task, you need to manually claim the growth value/points in the Growth Center; you can view changes in growth value/points in the details.
Daily Check-in
- On the Growth Center page, click the "Check-in" button to complete the check-in.
- Daily check-ins earn point rewards, and consecutive check-ins earn additional rewards.
Task System
GitCode provides three types of tasks: growth tasks, point tasks, and exclusive tasks.
Achievement System
The achievement system aims to record specific actions taken by developers on this platform (such as registration duration, active days, code contributions, etc.) and issue achievements. Some achievements will be released in the form of tasks, allowing you to collect achievements while earning point rewards. Every contribution you make should be remembered.
Points Mall
The points mall is coming soon. In the future, you can use points to redeem virtual rewards or physical gifts. Stay tuned!
