User Growth Center Practice

Introduction​

The Developer Growth Center is designed to provide new partners with a comprehensive onboarding guide and continuous technical support. Developers can quickly master the key features of the GitCode platform, learn how to identify and participate in interesting open-source projects. By completing the task of creating an open-source project step-by-step, you can not only successfully get started with GitCode but also use the same method to complete other tasks, allowing you to quickly familiarize yourself with the platform.

Accessing the User Growth Center​

How to find the growth center:

  • Entrance One: Click any position on the card in the dropdown menu under your avatar to enter;

  • Entrance Two: Click the growth center icon in the bottom right corner to expand the sidebar and enter the growth center or directly enter;

Growth System​

Growth Levels​

The GitCode Developer Growth Center has established the following growth levels for developers at different stages:

Growth Points/Credits​

  1. Growth points are used to record and evaluate your progress after completing a series of preset tasks or challenges. Accumulating growth points can help you achieve higher growth levels and privileges.
  2. Credits are rewards given for your performance after participating in and completing a series of tasks or activities. Credits can accumulate, and the exchange function will be opened in the future.
  3. Growth points/credits can be obtained through tasks or activities; after completing a task, you need to manually claim growth points/credits in the growth center; you can view the change records of growth points/credits in the details.

Daily Check-in​

  1. In the growth center page, you can complete the check-in by clicking the 「Check-in」 button.
  2. Daily check-ins earn credit rewards, and consecutive check-ins earn additional rewards.

Task System​

GitCode provides three types of tasks: Growth Tasks, Credit Tasks, and Special Tasks.

1. Viewing Tasks:

  • You can view the detailed steps to complete a task by clicking the task card or the task guide button; please carefully review the task requirements when completing the task.

  • You can view the rewards for the task below the task card.

2. Claiming and Viewing Rewards

  • After completing a task, you can enter the growth center through the pop-up window or other entrances, and click the claim reward button on the task to claim credit and growth point rewards;
  • After claiming, the system will automatically record and update your task status, growth points, and credits.

Achievement System​

The achievement system aims to record specific actions of developers on this platform (such as registration duration, active days, code contributions, etc.) and distribute achievements. Some achievements may be released in the form of tasks, allowing you to collect achievements while earning credit rewards. Every contribution you make should be remembered.

Points Mall​

The GitCode Points Mall is a product developed in conjunction with the growth system, aiming to give value to the points you earn. Your every contribution deserves recognition!!

  • The points mall offers a wide variety of physical and virtual gifts, which you can redeem using your points. More gift options will be added in the future. Hurry up and complete tasks to earn more points!

  • All gifts can be viewed in all currently listed products, and you can manage your orders and shipping addresses in your personal center.
