User Growth Center Practice

Introduction​

The Developer Growth Center is designed to provide comprehensive onboarding guidance and continuous technical support for new partners. Developers can quickly grasp the key features of the GitCode platform and learn how to identify and participate in open-source projects they are interested in. By completing the task of creating an open-source project step-by-step, you can not only successfully get started with GitCode but also use the same method to complete other tasks and quickly familiarize yourself with the platform.

Accessing the User Growth Center​

  1. Find the Growth Center:

  • After registering and logging in, click the icon on the right to quickly access the User Growth Center.

  1. View Growth Tasks:

  • In the Growth Center page, you can see the “Growth Tasks” list. Find a task and click the “Go Complete”.

Please carefully review the task requirements when completing tasks.

Earning Points and Rewards​

  • Once you successfully complete a task, the system will automatically record and update your growth value and points.
  • Return to the Growth Center to view your growth value, points, and the completion status of your current tasks.

  • Click the “Claim Reward”, and you can successfully claim your points.

Growth System​

Growth Levels​

GitCode Developer Growth Center has established the following growth levels for developers at different stages:

Growth Value / Points​

  1. Growth value is used to record and evaluate your progress after completing a series of preset tasks or challenges. Accumulating growth value can help you achieve higher growth levels and privileges.
  2. Points are rewards given based on your performance in participating in and completing a series of tasks or activities. Points can be accumulated, and future point exchange functions will be opened.
  3. Growth value/points can be earned through tasks or activities; after completing a task, you need to manually claim the growth value/points back in the Growth Center; you can view the change records of growth value/points through the details.

Daily Sign-In​

  1. On the Growth Center page, click the “Sign-In” button to complete the sign-in.
  2. Daily sign-ins earn you points as a reward, and consecutive sign-ins earn additional rewards.

Task System​

GitCode provides three types of tasks: Growth Tasks, Point Tasks, and Special Tasks.

Achievement System​

The achievement system aims to record specific behaviors of developers on this platform (such as registration duration, active days, code contributions, etc.) and distribute achievements. Some achievements will be released in the form of tasks, allowing you to collect achievements while earning point rewards. Every contribution you make should be remembered.

Points Mall​

The Points Mall is coming soon. In the future, you can use your points to redeem virtual rewards or physical gifts. Stay tuned!
