Kanban Board Introduction

The Kanban board is a powerful project management tool provided by GitCode, designed to help teams better organize, track, and collaborate on project progress. Through an intuitive interface and flexible features, the Kanban board makes project management more efficient and transparent.

Core Features​

1. Centralized Workspace​

The Kanban board provides a centralized workspace where you can create multiple views based on project requirements. Each view contains rich built-in column types such as title, assignee, status, labels, milestones, projects, associated pull requests (PRs), reviewers, and custom columns, representing different stages or categories of project tasks.

2. Table View Functionality​

The table view in the Kanban board is a powerful and adaptable spreadsheet. You can group, sort, and filter items in the table view, and display or hide fields to meet everyone's needs in the team, allowing for quick task location.

3. Kanban View Functionality​

With the Kanban view, you can visualize the entire project's progress, monitor task statuses in real-time, and coordinate the work of team members. In the Kanban view, you can drag and drop tasks (Issues) or pull requests (PRs) from one column to another, making it easy to track task statuses and promote team collaboration. For example, dragging a task from "In Process" to "Done."

4. Custom Fields​

The Kanban board supports custom fields. You can add fields according to your project requirements, such as priority and due date, to better organize and manage tasks.

5. Associated Tasks​

You can directly add Issues and PRs from projects under the organization to the Kanban board and assign them to appropriate columns. By associating tasks, team members can quickly locate and handle related work, ensuring that project progress is clearly visible.
