Personal Dashboard

The personal dashboard is an essential information hub on the GitCode platform, consolidating user activities and project information to provide users with decision-making and resource allocation basis, thereby enhancing work efficiency.

How to Open the Dashboard


While logged in, you can click on the profile icon in the top right corner, then select "Dashboard" from the dropdown menu to access the dashboard page.

The dashboard details include major modules such as Projects You Are Involved In, Your Activities, and Watched Activities.

Projects You Are Involved In

  1. Under the "Projects You Are Involved In" tab on the left side of the dashboard page, you can view your project panel to track project progress and tasks.
  2. Click on a project to view and manage its tasks and issues.

Understanding Activities

  1. Under the "My Activities" tab on the left side of the dashboard page, you can see a summary of your GitCode activities, including feedback received, statuses of Issues and Pull Requests, etc.
  2. Click any activity item to view more detailed information and participate in discussions.

Organizations You Are Involved In

  1. In the "Projects You Are Involved In" tab on the left side of the dashboard, you can choose the organizations you have joined via the dropdown menu.
  2. Click on a project to view and manage its tasks and issues.

Watched Activities

  • In the "Activities" tab at the top of your dashboard, we present activities generated by users you follow on GitCode as a news feed. These activities include:

    • Commits: When a user you follow submits new code to a project, this activity will show the commit author, commit message, and branch.
    • Pull Requests: When a user you follow creates a new Pull Request, this activity will display the Pull Request title, author, and repository. You can click into the Pull Request to view details and participate in discussions.
    • Issues: When a user you follow creates a new issue (such as a bug report or feature request), this activity will show the issue title, author, and project. You can click into the issue to view detailed information and join discussions.
    • Comments: When a user you follow comments on commits, Pull Requests, issues, or other activities, this activity will display the comment content and commenter's information.
    • Follows: When a user you follow follows other users or organizations on GitCode, this activity will show the information of the followed users or organizations.
  • In the "People You Follow" dropdown on the right side of the "Activities" tab, you can choose organizations to follow. Users can view related activities of the organization, including joining an organization, creating a project, leaving an organization, deleting a project, etc.
